POTR: Mini Wallet - Stroll Jr. (Green)

We created a mini wallet matching the Hobonichi Techo Stroll cover, which was created in collaboration with POTR, a brand by Yoshida & Co. based on the lifestyle concept. It utilizes the craftsmanship experience the company has cultivated over its long history. This Stroll Jr. looks like a smaller version of the Stroll techo cover, small enough to fit in your hand yet functional. The 2025 lineup has three bright colors; GreenCarrot, and Purple.

The fabric is a silky nylon bonded material, typical of Yoshida & Co. It has an elegant luster and is soft to the touch.

The two handles can be fastened with a snap button, and there are also pockets on the front and back of the wallet. The double-zipper closure is also one of the functionalities shared with the Stroll techo cover.

The wallet interior is colored in combination with the exterior color and black. There is a pocket on the left side for folded bills and cards and a zipper pocket for coins.

On the right side, you will find a small graph notebook. The notebook cover is the same color as the wallet, with the Hobonichi Techo’s 3.7-millimeter graph paper inside. It is made of the well-known Tomoe River paper used in the Hobonichi Techo, and it has 96 pages, even though it looks thin. You can quickly jot down any thoughts that come to mind.

The wallet comes with a handy carabiner. The colors are either green, carrot, or purple, depending on the color of the wallet, and it can be detached. You can use it to attach the wallet to your pants or bag or hang it from your shoulder using a commercially-available shoulder strap.

The Hobonichi Techo 2025 edition offers two sizes of techo covers that match the Stroll Jr.; the A6 Original size and the A5 Cousin size.

What is Tomoe River paper?

The Hobonichi Techo's Tomoe River paper is designed to prevent bleed-through, but some fountain pens and water-based ink pens are not compatible with this paper. When switching to a new pen, we recommend testing the pen somewhere in the book, such as the back memo pages, to see if the ink bleeds through or takes an especially long time to dry.
