We started our business making cards and custom stamps in 2009 at our first home, in our study first and then we expanded to the garage. As our home business grew, we started adding other scrapbooking products as well. After a few years of selling on Etsy, we launched our own online store to better serve our customers. We opened our brick-and-mortar store Little Craft Place in 2014 at Jones Road, a teeny tiny 800 square feet store front in Houston, TX. My dad and my husband, Ian, helped build The Great Washi Wall, something I have envisioned for years; it finally came to life, a dream come true for me. We were there for about four years, and we outgrew the space and wanted to accommodate a classroom for the local community, so we
relocated in October 2019 to Spring, TX, just outside The Gleannloch Farms.
I (Eunice) graduated in Australia with a Degree in Graphic Design and my husband, Ian, has a Degree in IT from The University of Arizona. I worked for an advertising agency before we started our little online store. We are constantly thinking of what's next. It’s all about ideas, creating new designs, improvements, daydreams, surprises, and creativity.
We believe in adding little details that make a big difference; it’s the little things in life that combine to create joy. We find such joy in creating something fun and practical for everyday use, a little something to cheer up a stressful day, or even something educational for the children to learn while they play.
Inspiration? Definitely our parents, who always see the world from a positive perspective. They worked so hard and didn’t have much, but they were very proud and grateful for what they did have.
Children are also an inspiration to us, they are simple, happy and clueless about the world around them. Most of our ideas come from our little girls. It is amazing to view the world through the eyes of a child. From her playing, smiling, singing, dancing, reading or even while she sleeps...There are not enough words to describe them, they are our precious and make us both a better person ♥
We believe in local, organic, and sustainable agriculture. Our dream? We would love to go see the world with our daughters. To share and to contribute for the less fortunate in the rural area; to give back to the society; to make a difference in someone’s life. We are so grateful to have the privilege to be alive, to breathe, to love, to see, to listen, and to enjoy. Sometimes it’s the little things that we take for granted. We wish there were 36 hours a day so we can have more time for our passions.
Thank you all for stopping by! Have a magical day ahead ♥
